Bluejay Electric Bikes (“Bluejay” or “We”, “Us” or “Our”) is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase or sign up to attend one of our events from bluejaybikes.com (the “Site”).
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. If you sign up to attend one of our pop-up events, we may collect your name, email address and other contact information and whether you actually attend. (“Event Data”)
If you check out our bicycles there, we may your name, contact information and hold your credit card or drivers’ license “Event Trial Data”).
We also may collect any reviews, photos or social media you post to our site, or link to your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other social media pages or when you visit our social media pages and your social media user name (”User Content”).
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you and let you know about new products that may be of interest to you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We use Event Data to administer our events and to communicate with you and let you know about new products that may be of interest to you. We also use Event Data to manage our risk, defend against any legal claims from the trial use of our bicycles or fraud.
We use Event Trial Data solely to hold as security against any damage to our bicycles when you try them out, or if you fail to return the bicycle you try. We also will use Event Trial Data to manage our risk, defend against any legal claims from the trial use of our bicycles or fraud.
We use User Content by posting it on our site or linking to it on the social media platform it was posted to.
We also use User Content from our Facebook pages and other and cookies from other services to target advertising and build audience to target marketing to.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the services or purchases you make through the Site, to perform website and application-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, posting your comments on blog pages, credit card processing, administering payment plans (If offered), web analytics and improvement of the Site' features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Site is used and who attends events. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may also share Event Data with our third party event hosts for the pop-up you attend for security reasons or if they are a business to allow them to communicate with you.
We may also use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records to communicate with you, to defend against legal claims, detect fraud and for such time periods in which we have legitimate business interest in doing so after such period we will honor requests to delete information at the user’s request upon confirmation of their identity.
When you express interest in attending an event or decide to attend an event we will maintain your Event Data unless you ask us to delete your information
YOUR CHOICES
To remove yourself from our email lists or unsubscribe, follow the unsubscribe information at the bottom of the page.
While we retain Order Information and Event Data for such period as we may have legitimate business interest to do so, we will honor all requests to unsubscribe and removal from marketing lists.
If you would like to remove your User Content, you may do so through the social media platform you post it through. For reviews and User Content posted on our site, you may contact us to remove such User Content at support@bluejaybikes.com.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of third parties, if any, to which we disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the categories of Personal Information shared with those third parties. We do not sell your data to third parties. CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from or about children under sixteen years of age. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child under the age of 16 has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@bluejaybikes.com. We will work to remove such information within a reasonable time.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
NOTE TO RESIDENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
We do not market to or hold events outside of the United States at this time. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, Bluejay transfers Personal Information to the United States and processes it there.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION.
The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not make any Personal Information available to third parties without your permission or authorization and take reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information. The security of your Personal Information and that of your customers is important to us. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

Throughout our Site, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites, collectively referred to as third Party links.
