Return Policy

Did you have a change of heart? That's ok.

We accept returns as follows:

  • If we haven't shipped your bicycle or accessories yet, we will refund your purchase price. Just call or email us immediately to request the return.

  • If you wish to return your unused, still-in-box bicycle within 30 days of having received it, call or email us to schedule a freight pickup. We will be happy to refund your purchase price less a 15% restocking fee and the return shipping charges upon receipt of your unused* bicycle.

  • If you chose our Local Assembly option and picked your bike up from a shop you will not have the original packaging but will still need to return it to the shop un-used and with all accessories including Owner's Manual, touch-up paint, toolkit and charger. We will be happy to refund your purchase price less a 15% restocking fee + return shipping charges upon receipt of your unused* bicycle. 
  • If you wish to return unused accessories within 30 days of having received them, call or email us to arrange an authorization. Then, repackage them and send them back to us. We will be happy to refund your purchase upon receipt of your unused* items.

To initiate returns, please contact us at support@bluejaybikes.com or call (888) 654-9913. We require preauthorization for all returns.

In all cases, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

* To be eligible for refund, bicycles and accessories must be unridden and unused, in original clean condition, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in their original packaging if not yet assembled. Also, all returns must be preauthorized.

 

DAMAGE POLICY

If your package arrives damaged, don't worry — it's insured!

In case of damage, you have two options:

    1.  Accept the delivery and take clear photos of the box and bike right away. Then, file a damage report within two (2) business days after delivery. (Please follow instructions carefully, because the insurance company will reject any claim that is invalid or filed too late.) We will work with you to replace or fix any parts.
    2. Refuse the delivery and return it to us — but be aware that it will take 6-13 weeks to process your return.

If your bike or accessories are returned in damaged condition, with missing parts, or otherwise show signs of abuse, Bluejay reserves the right to refuse a refund or to charge additional restocking fees, at Bluejay's sole discretion. There will be no refund for any promotional offers.
