Guidelines for Adjusting the Handlebars
The stem on your Bluejay electric bicycle can be adjusted up and down to allow you to find a comfortable position on the bike. The ideal position is that the arms have a slight bend in them and are not stretched away from the body while the rider sits on the bike and holds the handlebars.
Adjusting the Stem
- Use a 6 mm Allen wrench (provided) to loosen the stem bolt.
- Move the stem up or down to the desired position
- While holding the stem and handlebars in the desired position, use the 6 mm Allen wrench to retighten the stem adjustment bolt to a torque value of 18 Nm.
NOTICE: Ensure that the stem, seat post, and seat are properly tightened before riding. Failure to properly tighten these elements can result in serious injury or death.
