- Charger
- Handlebars
- Front wheel
- Brake Rotor
- 6 Black Torx Screws
- Seat and seat post
- Seat Clamp
- Pedals
- Quick-release skewer
- Front Headlight
- Metal Mount, 2 socket button screws, 4 washers, 2 nuts
- Front Fender
- Hex head set, 2 washers, 1 nut
- 2 socket cap screws, 2 washers, 2 nuts, 2 black spacers
Step 2: Attach the Handlebars
- Loosen the bolts on the stem faceplate using an Allen wrench.
- Position the handlebars in place, ensuring they are centered and angled to your preference. The screen should be facing you on the left-hand side of the handlebars.
- Tighten the bolts evenly to secure the handlebars.
Adjusting a Quill Stem:
- Loosen the bolt at the top of the stem using an Allen wrench.
- Adjust the height of the stem to your preference, ensuring it does not exceed the minimum insertion line.
- Align the handlebars with the front wheel.
- Retighten the bolt to secure the stem.
- To adjust the angle, loosen the bolt on the bottom of the stem, move the handlebars into your preferred position, and retighten the bottom bolt.
Step 3: Install the Front Wheel
- First, install the brake rotor onto the front wheel. Ensure the writing on the brake rotor is facing you.
- Use the 6 black Torx screws to secure the brake rotor to the front wheel.
- If your bike has a quick-release skewer, insert it through the wheel hub.
- Position the wheel into the front fork dropouts.
- Tighten the quick-release lever or axle nuts securely.
Step 4: Install Front Fender
- Take the front fender out of the plastic and slide it through the fork above the front tire with the tab resting against the back of the fork.
- Place the hex headset with one washer through the front of the hole on the top of the fork and secure the fender tab by placing the washer and nut on the back of the fork and securely tightening.
- Move the metal arms to align with the holes on either side of the front fork.
- Place a socket cap screw with a washer through the hole on the metal arm. Once placed through add the black spacer and secure into the hole in the fork. Repeat on the other side.
Step 5: Attach the Seat and Seat Post
- Put the seat post clamp onto the bike frame. Then, apply grease to the seat post and insert it into the frame’s seat tube.
- Adjust to the desired height.
- Tighten the seat post clamp securely with an Allen wrench.
Step 6: Install the Pedals
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals.
- Thread the right pedal counterclockwise into the right crank arm and tighten with a wrench.
- Thread the left pedal counterclockwise into the left crank arm and tighten.
Step 7: Adjust Brakes and Gears
- Ensure the brake pads align with the rims or disc rotors.
- Please make sure the brakes are not overly rubbing. Some rubbing is normal since the brakes are hydraulic and need to be broken in.
- If the brakes are rubbing too much, please gently release tension on the two Allens attached to the brake on the fork, press down hard on the front brake, and tighten the Allen bolts into place while still holding the brake. Release the lever once you finish tightening.
- Shift through the gears to verify smooth operation. Make minor adjustments using the barrel adjuster if necessary.
Step 8: Attach Front Headlight
- Facing the non drive side of the bike you will see a black wire. Please insert the black wire oval on the fork
- Attach the headlight mount onto the oval using the socket button screw, a washer on either side and the nut on the back of the screw.
- Take the two black wires and push back the plastic covering to expose the metal clasps (please note the casing can be trimmed if needed).
- Once the covering is pushed back you will be able to see the wires. One wire has a white line, this is the positive; the other wire is fully black, this is the negative.
- Insert the positive and negative wires into their respective sides on the bottom of the headlight.
- Once the clasps are secured push the black plastic casing up to cover the metal.
Step 9: Inflate the Tires
- The recommended PSI is 45.
- Inflate both tires accordingly using a tire pump.
Step 8: Final Safety Check
- Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
- Check that the handlebars, seat, and wheels are firmly in place.
- Test the brakes and gears before your first ride.
Enjoy your new bike! Ride safely and have fun.
