Using higher levels of pedal-assist drains the battery faster, so if you left for a ride with your battery not fully charged and combined this with using high levels of pedal-assist, you would have noticed a drop in your remaining charge or experienced the battery cutting out.
We recommend always leaving for a ride on a full charge which will give you the option to use the higher levels of pedal-assist when you’re out and about.
