Your electric bicycle is equipped with a 48V Phylion rechargeable, lithium-ion battery. The total lifespan of the battery ultimately depends on its use, storage, and maintenance. A general rule of thumb is that the battery will last for no less than 500 full-cycle charges.
Please note, however, that a "full-cycle" charge is recharging the battery from a fully depleted state. We recommend against fully depleting the battery in order to optimize battery life. For more information, please read "Best Practices for Extending Battery Life".
